Hi David, Let me be honest up front. I live on the complete opposite side of the continent from you. I live in Buena Park. Enjoyed your website and photos. I have a problem here Buena Park animal control which I am tackling with success. But I have a question. Every time I see a photo of a dear rat there is never any blood. My traps look like a butcher has gone to work! So much blood everywhere. But all your photos and everyone Buena Park pest control in your business or giving advice – never any blood? Why? Do you clean them first because I wish you would not. I was totally unprepared for the sight that greeted me after my first rat kill. I live on a n Island that never goes Buena Park wildlife removal below zero and actually stays at between 5 and 8 degrees F during the winter. Zero does happen but very rarely. My response: I don't know. I never cleaned any rats or Buena Park exterminator doctored any photos. I rarely ever saw any rat blood, and if so, just tiny amounts. I used the Victor EasySet wooden traps, and they were Black Rats. Maybe you are using a different trap or are catching Buena Park exterminator different rats. And zero degrees doesn't kill off rats any more than it kills off humans or any other mammal.
